Decisions - The Third Step to Entrepreneurial Success

What decisions will you make in 2025 & what subsequent actions will you execute to achieve social change?

Over many decades in different ecosystems of change I have observed that there are 3 types of advocates and their decision making is limited by their category.

1] The deniers that change is possible

Those who realise there is a problem but never really get off their proverbial backside & actually do something about it, preferring to stay in their own comfort zone as if in denial. Nowadays they can be found bleating on social media posts with inane comments on topics such as 'adopt don't shop' or 'raw feeding'. They are usually exposed as being very self-opinionated with total disregard to someone else's potentially valid opinion & not willing to listen. It's almost like they're satisfying personal guilt rather than being a force for changing attitudes.

2] The believers in the status quo:

Those who believe their business model is working because it's origins go back a few hundred years. Those, where people are still using their services because they are so dominant in the marketplace that their is no current alternative. Those who have established such strong hierarchical chains of command & control in their organisations that they are fearful of change & letting go. Ego & power trips come to the forefront, 'it's my way or no way' style of modus operandi.

3] The Innovators, the Disruptors & the Social Changemakers

Those who believe the current systems are not fit for purpose!
Those who are willing to engage in curious & transparent conversations.

Those who make strategic decisions to create new ways of solving the wicked societal problems that the first two categories never will or have failed to do so.

Those who see the huge potential of micro & small for profit businesses becoming a force for good, together at scale.

Those who know we need a platform for

The innovators, the disruptors & the social changemakers to join together in 2025 to become active participants / contributors to small action orientated working groups, including in an advisory capacity, to
a] create exciting collaborations on projects that will enable inclusion
b} develop new methods of delivering education to the next generation of pet advocates that will change the face of animal welfare. c] explore how we can use AI & the Human Animal Bond as tools of change d] build global networks & communities to which other wish to belong.

Weeding the Garden of Conflict - Cultivating Harmony with Debra Hamilton 9th Dec 2024
I often say to people who are in conflict over animals, you know you don't have to answer right away right and they go no I have to and I go no take all the information in and give both of you time to rethink what it is you said and then move forward. DH
So, it's a reflective process where both parties are reflecting over a period of time on what the other what the other one said. SH
If they have the ability to do that, you know that Spencer, because sometimes they are so angry and their egos are so fragile that they need to be right over getting it right for the animal and what we do here at Reboundog and talk about all the time is how do we  help the people focus on what's best for the animal going forward not necessarily what we always do or what we think is best for the animal let's look at all the situations that might come up for the animal that would make having a collaborative outcome be better for the animal, maybe not initially great for the people yet if the animal is thriving then that's all that we're hoping for. DH

OUR NEXT OPEN NETWORKING EVENT IS ON THURSDAY 23RD JANUARY

Reboundog©

The decision has been made that going forward in 2025 there will be only one Reboundog Global Networking Event per month on the 4th Thursday.

Imagine who else you may meet here?
Will it be someone who offers a different perspective on your business project?
Will it be someone with whom you wish to enter into a joint venture partnership?

Business networking should not just be about growing your business for more money. Anybody can do that. Slow down for a moment & think what if....
Business networking could also be about enabling a huge social-impact, adding social value to your community and creating an inclusive society.

I grew up listening to the Coca Cola advert song “I’d like to teach the world to sing.” As I can’t sing, I’d like to teach the business world to network for social good.

Reboundog is proud to support Every Life Matters

Every Life Matters

From the very beginning Reboundog has been focused on both marginalised dogs & disenfranchised people.
